About Us

Based in the old Victorian spa village of Strathpeffer, in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland, we offer a range of carefully considered products, many of which are the greener and gentler alternatives to products which we all use on a daily basis. Many of our products can boast at least one ‘green’ credential, whether it be; the use of recycled materials; the use of natural ingredients as opposed to harsh, harmful chemicals;  the use of material or ingredients from a sustainable source; or  products which have been fairly traded.

We also offer a lovely range of giftware, most of which has been hand crafted in Scotland and inspired by the stunning landscapes and seascapes which we are lucky enough to have in abundance.  As well as supporting Scottish artisans, we also endeavour to source as much as possible from UK manufacturers in order to keep our carbon footprint to a minimum.

As dedicated supporters of wildlife conservation charity Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOS), we don’t and won’t sell products which contain palm oil or palm oil derivatives, unless the oil has reliably come from a sustainable source. We are always careful to establish that any products we sell are not derived from bad practices which are costing the earth or endangering wildlife.

As part of our ongoing commitment to our chosen charity, BOS, part of our profits are donated to them in support of the fantastic work that they do in their efforts to save the orangutan and its rainforest habitat.
