About Us

Green Tree is a new business which has taken root in the Highlands of Scotland, offering a range of ecologically-considered products, many of which are the greener and gentler alternatives to products which we all use on a daily basis. Each of the products can boast at least one ‘green’ credential, whether it be; the use of recycled materials; the use of natural ingredients as opposed to harsh, harmful chemicals;  the use of material or ingredients from a sustainable source; or fairly traded products which offer prospect to poorer communities in third world countries by lifting them out of poverty.

As dedicated supporters of wildlife conservation charity Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOS), we don’t and won’t sell products which contain palm oil or palm oil derivatives, unless the oil has reliably come from a sustainable source. We are always careful to establish that any products we sell are not derived from bad practices which are costing the earth or endangering wildlife.

As part of our ongoing commitment to our chosen charity, BOS, part of our profits will be donated to them in support of the fantastic work that they do in their efforts to save the orangutan and its rainforest habitat. Wherever possible, we recycle packaging when dispatching goods and we also use biodegradable mailing bags.
